There are three ways to support Manitobans for Human Rights – Membership, Donation and Volunteering.
Membership: the one-time cost to become a member of Manitobans for Human Rights is only $10.00 for an individual. The fee is very low, so it is affordable for all members of our society. As a Manitoba for Human Rights member, you will receive notification of events, news articles, and organizational development. Members will be encouraged to participate in the growth of the organization by joining committees and providing comments, feedback, and suggestions. Register for membership using our online membership form.
Donations: as a charitable organization, Manitobans for Human Rights relies heavily on donations. As the saying goes, ‘every penny counts’. Well, we will have to change that to, ‘every nickel counts’. And it does. So, please think about what you can afford to donate and then go to our online donation form and make your donation. Manitobans for Human Rights is grateful to everyone who makes a donation. Our Charitable number is 8406 49396 RR0001.
You can use the above ‘Donate now’ link to go to our form at CanadaHelps.org, or you can use the donation form on this site. You can also contact us if you would prefer another way to make your donation.
Volunteering: Manitobans for Human Rights thrives on having amazing volunteers committed to human rights learning and having Winnipeg become the second Human Rights city in Canada in 2018. MHR has twelve committee groups. Click on Get Involved in the menu bar. You can contact us about becoming a volunteer.
